The I.H.S. Music Department will be sponsoring the annual Battle of the Bands on this today during the afternoon activity period. Tickets are $3 and can be bought at lunch today.
Keep Putnam Beautiful will have an "Area Clean-up" day on this Saturday, May 17 from 7am to 12 noon. You may earn five community service hours. Meeting place is Kennedy Avenue. Contact Mickie Stewart for more information (386) 684-0902.
The last day of after-school tutoring for this school year will be Thursday, May 22.
Sign-up for prom royalty nominations will be on the board in A-Hall starting today. Voting will take place during Prom and students must be in attendance at prom to vote or win the nomination. Students must read and meet all eligibility requirements, which are displayed on the board. Their names will be removed if requirements are not met or they violate them before May 24.
Prom tickets are on sale during lunch currently priced at $40.00. Prom will be Saturday, May 24, from 8-12 midnight at the Putnam County Shrine Club.
Calling all FFA and 4-H members!! The Florida Auctioneers Association presents Amateur Auctioneer Contest. The contest is staged to help raise funds for Special Olympics Florida, promote awareness of the Auction Method of Marketing. The location: Blue Crab Festival - Main Event Tent Date/Time: May 24th @ 2p.m. See Mrs. Mullins for further information.
Due to limited seating Price Middle School has requested that high school students only attend the 8th grade graduation if you have a brother or sister in that class and you must be with your parents. Thanks for your cooperation.
UF’s College of Journalism will conduct a 1-day program to learn about journalism through print, broadcast, online and photojournalism. This experience is for students in grades 8-11. Seating is limited. The program is June 21, 2008. See details in guidance.
Seniors:
If you are a graduating senior and owe books, money or anything else to teachers, school, media center, clubs or sports department. PLEASE TAKE CARE OF THIS MATTER BEFORE YOU WALK. Please do not wait until the last day. You will not be able to graduate if you do not take care of these issues prior to walking.
The Senior Scholarship Award Program will be on May 22 at 9 am in the gym.
